Luminarias For Dec 21 - Light Up River Forest & Oak Park!
The Kiwanis of River Forest & Oak Park has assembled luminary kits for this event.
These kits include:
-10 white paper bags
-10 palm wax candles
-Sand to stabilize the bags
-Instructions
-Helpful hints
Cost is $10 per kit, with net proceeds used for Kiwanis efforts supporting children in our area. Only cash or check made out to Kiwanis of RFOP. A 50-foot lot would take 1 to 2 kits. Recommended spacing is 5 feet between lights, one kit would line one side of the sidewalk. However, many like to line both sides of the sidewalk, where two kits would be necessary.
Luminaria kits will be available on the front porch at 1043 Keystone Avenue in River Forest. Please drop payment into the mail slot to the right of the door in with supplied envelope. Be sure to grab one sandbag for each kit.
